ABOUT LILLYPAD COVER COMPANY

Lillypad Cover started in 1994. Prior to that we were a custom shop specializing in vinyl related products using radio frequency welding machines to weld products together such as menu covers for restaurants - liners for swimming pools, pond liners for fire fighting, inflatable pool domes for year round swimming, lifting balloons for ocean salvage, plastic pollution cones inflated on the ocean bottom to capture plankton as it rose to the surface - then putting mine tailings and other products in as divers photograph the effect on the plankton.

In 1994 we then devoted all our efforts on making replacement hot tub covers. We then sold directly to the consumer. Our prices were based on the lowest we can charge that doesn't affect quality in materials, labour or service.

We use only the best materials for our BC hot tub covers.

All covers are tapered to shed water. Polyester coated vinyl on under-side (not plastic). Optional reflective material otherwise.

We use only hot wire foam cutters. This re-seals the outer edges.

Each outer vinyl cover has 30 pieces of fabric and over 12,000 stitches to put together.

We are now subcontracting our manufacturing to facilitate Bob's idea of retirement (which is to cut down from 7 days to 5 days a week. Rest assured quality is still a priority.)
